Open Minds (Mindjack Trilogy #1) by Susan Kaye Quinn

Synopsis:

My Rating
-4/5-
I found this a really good and interesting book. Not only was the idea a really good one but also a really hard one. Reading minds? What a kind of world but it was interesting to see how there is Zero's people who can't read minds, normal people who can read minds then what Kira is who can control minds. It's interesting and Susan Kaye Quinn makes it work really well. It wasn't weird or sloppy or confusing to read!
I liked Kira's character a lot because she continued to think logically but also to jump to conclusions. It was like realistic thinking and she would think one thought that would lead to another so you know how she got to that idea instead of it just being there and you don't know why. Also Kira tries all kinds of things on her own with out even knowing what the limits are or if she should. So she is determined in a way.
The choices Kira makes through out the book are strong choices. Which leads to some interesting places and makes you wonder what if she decided to do something else or take the safe rout to things?
A lot goes on in this book and its interesting to think how it got from the begging to the end. So things were just a rush but it really captured your attention. I'm interested to see where the next book in the trilogy will lead. And what adventures and problems await Kira.
