Plague (Gone # 4) By Michael Grant

Synopsis:
It's been eight months since all the adults disappeared. GONE.

They've survived hunger. They've survived lies. But the stakes keep rising, and the dystopian horror keeps building. Yet despite the simmering unrest left behind by so many battles, power struggles, and angry divides, there is a momentary calm in Perdido Beach.

But enemies in the FAYZ don't just fade away, and in the quiet, deadly things are stirring, mutating, and finding their way free. The Darkness has found its way into the mind of its Nemesis at last and is controlling it through a haze of delirium and confusion. A highly contagious, fatal illness spreads at an alarming rate. Sinister, predatory insects terrorize Perdido Beach. And Sam, Astrid, Diana, and Caine are plagued by a growing doubt that they'll escape - or even survive - life in the FAYZ. With so much turmoil surrounding them, what desperate choices will they make when it comes to saving themselves and those they love?

First off all i can say is WOW! The FAYZ is intense. These kids are like my hero's, I do understand they aren't real though. They are still my hero's they have made some really tough decisions and lived through what they have only for things to keep getting worse and worse.
In this book I feel a little sorry for Diana I hope everything works out for her.
Astrid? Wow that decision she made about little Pete, all I can say is that must have been an amazingly hard decision to do that. I hope she gets past that because in my mind she probably did the right thing. If little Pete understood I think he would agree.
Sam and Caine? At least something is better there. How long will it last though?
Will Sam's discovery make everything better? Or will things just end up they way they were?
Lastly what will become of the Darkness, and Britney/Drake?

Can't wait to read the next book and find out what happens next! XD EKK!

Lies (Gone # 3) By Michael Grant

Synopsis:
It's been seven months since all the adults disappeared. Gone.

It happens in one night. A girl who died now walks among the living; Zil and the Human Crew set fire to Perdido Beach; and amid the flames and smoke, Sam sees the figure of the boy he fears the most: Drake. But Drake is dead. Sam and Caine defeated him along with the Darkness—or so they thought.

As Perdido Beach burns, battles rage: Astrid against the Town Council; the Human Crew versus the mutants; and Sam against Drake, who is back from the dead and ready to finish where he and Sam left off. And all the while deadly rumors are raging like the fire itself, spread by the prophetess Orsay and her companion, Nerezza. They say that death is a way to escape the FAYZ. Conditions are worse than ever and kids are desperate to get out. But are they desperate enough to believe that death will set them free?

So first of the summery does a pretty good job to tell you some of the things packed inside this 3rd book. Though it does also leave out interesting parts that make reading Lies exciting. I love these sets of books so far 3 books in and there is problems all the time always something going on. Most of it though seems to happen in a short time too like a week or a few days, but it is still filled to the top with twists and turns. The different point of view make it unbelievable, and interesting to read. I would definitely with out a doubt say its a hard book to just pull away from. Michael Grant is an amazing author and I can't wait to dive into the next book!

Hunger (Gone #2) By Michael Grant

synopsis:
It's been three months since everyone under the age of fifteen became trapped in the bubble known as the FAYZ.

Three months since all the adults disappeared. GONE.

Food ran out weeks ago. Everyone is starving, but no one wants to figure out a solution. And each day, more and more kids are evolving, developing supernatural abilities that set them apart from the kids without powers. Tension rises and chaos is descending upon the town. It's the normal kids against the mutants. Each kid is out for himself, and even the good ones turn murderous.

But a larger problem looms. The Darkness, a sinister creature that has lived buried deep in the hills, begins calling to some of the teens in the FAYZ. Calling to them, guiding them, manipulating them.

The Darkness has awakened. And it is hungry.

This book is just filed with problems beginning to end. There is always a problem for someone, a problem ends for someone and there is already two more waiting to deal with. Through this book I was thinking how can there possible be 4 more books after this one? What is there to write about? Also how many kids are still left? It seems like everyone is dying or on the brink of death half the time. Or so confused and conflicted that they are going to have a nervous break down! Anyways this was a really good book. Lots of pages but still and amazingly good book. I'm dying to get through the series and find out how it all ends if parents come back and definitely what happens next!

Gone (Gone #1) by Michael Grant

synopsis:
In the blink of an eye. Everyone disappears. GONE.

Except for the young. Teens. Middle schoolers. Toddlers. But not one single adult. No teachers, no cops, no doctors, no parents. Just as suddenly, there are no phones, no internet, no television. No way to get help. And no way to figure out what's happened.

Hunger threatens. Bullies rule. A sinister creature lurks. Animals are mutating. And the teens themselves are changing, developing new talents—unimaginable, dangerous, deadly powers—that grow stronger by the day.

It's a terrifying new world. Sides are being chosen, a fight is shaping up. Townies against rich kids. Bullies against the weak. Powerful against powerless. And time is running out: On your birthday, you disappear just like everyone else...

When I first seen what the book was about I thought okay it will be like a Lord of the Flies kind of thing. Kids on there own no parents just teenagers probably up to 18, though they won't be trapped they will be able to go anywhere. Well once you get into the start of the book you find out that those things aren't true! Maybe the crazy Lord of the Flies part a little bit on how things go, but other wise no! It is a strange book not only are kids alone with no where to go no one to look to, you find out that they have powers! Weird unnatural powers, that some can't even control or they don't know about. Some kids decided to use this for good other don't! Bullies actually do try and rule. Then the animals are just another kind of scary all together!
This book certainly frightened me at some parts just to imagine some of the things that go on. What everything looks like the thoughts that go through peoples minds. If I was in anyone of those kids positions I would snap I wouldn't be able to handle it at all. This book defiantly keep me up and night and turning every page, fearing what I was going to read next but also unable from stopping myself and setting it down.

In this breathless sequel to "Eve," Anna Carey returns to her tale of romance, adventure, and sacrifice in a world that is both wonderfully strange and chillingly familiar.:

This book tells what happens after Eve abandons Caleb to be in the City Califia and be safe. During this books she learns a shocking truth about her past and taken to the City to live.
I loved this book, way to many twists and turns, you realized just everything that Eve will do for the ones she loves and to get free. Great book considering most serious start to dip off after the second book but this is pretty good!!
Hey if you have read Once tell me what you think! Or Even if you have read Eve. I know I don't have a a review on Eve but I'm trying to just do this blog on books i have read recently since i started it so I can remember everything better!

Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) by Tahereh Mafi

Synopsis:
tick
tick
tick
tick
tick
it's almost
time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.
Unravel Me is the second book to Shatter Me. Juliette is in a safe place for now but time is running out. She has to learn to use her power before time dares to run out.

Beginning of book: Some things go into to much details others don't go into enough but its pretty good
Middle of book: WHAT!!! I so did not see that coming. That can't be right *reread* OMG i can't believe it.
Towards end: *Cries* OMG OMG OMG *Stops reading and tires to remember how to breath. In. Out. In. Out. In. Out*

This book was so amazing I loved it so much and it made me fall in love with Warner even more xD

**SPOILERS** I can't believe all that has happened like wow. Adam and Warner? Who would have thought something like that!! Also it really seems the Juliette is falling hard for Warner. Adam has to be careful which could end bad if there is ever a slip up, but Warner doesn't have that problem. Also i really wonder if Warner's dad has powers because James, Adam and Warner all have them so it would kind of make sense if he end up having some freaky weird power. Any was i hope to find out in the next book can't wait to see what happens. If you Read unravel me tell me what you think! :D

Insurgent (Divergent 2) By Veronica Roth

Synopsis:
One choice can transform you, or destroy you.

Every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves, and herself, while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Insurgent a great book! It was breath taking. It took me a while to read but i hated putting it down it was like the world would end if i didn't finish it in time. Lots of exiting twists and turns in it. I say it is a must read!!!!! XD
You really find out what happens next with all the fractions the leaders and the craziness going on!!
Oh and the ending is really shocking and wow like can't wait to get into the next book. Those of you who have read this i know will agree!

**Spoilers** Tris is dealing with so much her parents deaths, Will's death. She doesn't even want to hold a gun and she wants to die for part of the book. Its like how is she a part of dauntless and wants to die? :O I have to be honest that part really shocked me i mean i know she went through a lot but she seemed really so strong. I guess everyone has there movements, even book characters. No one is perfect! It was a great book though especially towards the end the end was a really good ending for a book loved it.
-Please post your thought I would really love to hear them-

Abandon (Possession #3) by Elana Johnson

synopsis:
seduced by power,
broken by control,
and consumed by love...

Vi has made her choice between Jag and Zenn, and the Resistance may have suffered for it. But with the Thinkers as strong as ever, the rebels still have a job to do. Vi knows better than anyone that there's more at stake than a few broken hearts.

But there is a traitor among them...and the choices he makes could lead to the total destruction of everything Vi has fought for.

Vi, Jag, and Zenn must set their problems aside for the Resistance to have any hope of ending the Thinkers' reign. Their success means everything...and their failure means death.

Abandon is the third book in the Possession Novels! It is a book the goes between the view point of Jag Barque and Zenn Bower. Its a great book loved it great ending to the other books. The Resistance fights the Thinker's wanting to win a world without Thinker's controlling every thought! Well in this book they come close and its a great book i loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was more then i expected it to be that's for sure! Hope you read and love it too :D

**Spoilers** Omg!!! how does anyone figure out who to fight for. Thinker's aren't great no but a world with out them seemed like it would end in trouble sometimes. I truly see why Zenn was so confused on what side to be on. He seriously didn't know how to make up his own mind or lead anyone excepted him self. Jag on the other hand leader of the resistance he is 16!!!! That just says a lot he has been running it for years and he is so young. He can command people and he knows how to get what he wants. He also has so much hidden with in him so much sadness so many people he loved died and yet he still is able to run everything!! Jag is defiantly one strong character i can't believe he was basically buried alive that would freak me out enough to never go after what i wanted. In the end though it works out and they get so close and basically get what they always wanted people start waking up and realize whats going on.
Jag and Zenn both fight for Vi the only problem is that Vi goes and picks Jag. I felt so bad for Zenn in tell he found Saffediene. Which made things sort of better even though Zenn didn't know if he loved her he just knew he liked her. Then at the end when people like Vi's mom died and Zenn died that was heart breaking and you think of how almost everyone has lost someone Vi has lost her sister Ty and her mother and Zenn her first love and best friend. :( Jag has lost both his brothers and his parents. It is a really high cost to be in the resistance! But none the less loved this book hope you agree with me if you read it.

Awaken (Awaken, #1) by Katie Kacvinsky

Synopsis:
Maddie lives in a world where everything is done on the computer. Whether it’s to go to school or on a date, people don’t venture out of their home. There’s really no need. For the most part, Maddie’s okay with the solitary, digital life—until she meets Justin. Justin likes being with people. He enjoys the physical closeness of face-to-face interactions. People aren’t meant to be alone, he tells her.

Suddenly, Maddie feels something awakening inside her—a feeling that maybe there is a different, better way to live. But with society and her parents telling her otherwise, Maddie is going to have to learn to stand up for herself if she wants to change the path her life is taking.

In this not-so-brave new world, two young people struggle to carve out their own space.
Awaken was a very great book! I love reading it and I think its a good book to read, who knows the future might be like this some day. All technology where people barely leave there house, online schools, online dating, online shopping. Most of this already exists its just time before everyone just uses those things and doesn't get out of the house.
Maddie has to make choices and who she wants to help and she has to start taking charge of her life. I think its a great book and I want to read the Second book and hope to soon.

** spoiler alert ** Out of every dystopian book i have ever read i see this one coming true the most. I mean school shootings already seem to happen way more then it ever should. Online school is becoming more and more popular. Also the way people are on there phones and computers it is like no one can carry a real life conversation. I mean seriously we will have plastic trees and turf lawns cause no one wants to actually do the work of a real lawn. I think if things keep going the way they are we will end up like the people in Awaken.
Anyways love Justin and Maddie XD. So can't wait to read the second book and hope its just as great :D
