My Rating
-4/5-
I have been giving a lot of books high ratings lately. Probably just because I have been reading good books lately. And right here is another good book.
Becca saves Chris's life and she finds out that Chris has control over water and his brothers have control over Air, fire, and earth. In most books I feel like you don't learn the big secrets tell almost the end of the book. It was nice to have almost all of them right up front! Also the way that their powers or abilities were describe was really nice. Really simple. It was just a nice change from other books.
Also what happens is pretty good. Since Becca saves Chris's life her life is at risk. When the new kid Hunter comes around she is helped out.
Oh there is a love triangle in the book, a bit. Where Becca likes Hunter and Chris, which is easy to tell but she only seems to go after one.
The characters are pretty awesome and unique. Becca is pretty normal for the most part, though she does get picked on and tries to stay low at the beginning. She is also kind and helpful though I think. Chris and his brothers are all unique and awesome. Though I think that a lot of that also has to do with their totally sweet powers!! Okay I'm just kidding it isn't just their powers. Hunter is cool with his different style and how he acts. Even Becca's friend Quinn has a cool personality. I'm pretty sure I'm going to continue the series and see if it gets better, also how the characters add to things.

For Darkness Shows the Stars (For Darkness Shows the Stars #1) by Diana Peterfreund

Synopsis:
It's been several generations since a genetic experiment gone wrong caused the Reduction, decimating humanity and giving rise to a Luddite nobility who outlawed most technology.

Elliot North has always known her place in this world. Four years ago Elliot refused to run away with her childhood sweetheart, the servant Kai, choosing duty to her family's estate over love. Since then the world has changed: a new class of Post-Reductionists is jumpstarting the wheel of progress, and Elliot's estate is foundering, forcing her to rent land to the mysterious Cloud Fleet, a group of shipbuilders that includes renowned explorer Captain Malakai Wentforth--an almost unrecognizable Kai. And while Elliot wonders if this could be their second chance, Kai seems determined to show Elliot exactly what she gave up when she let him go.

But Elliot soon discovers her old friend carries a secret--one that could change their society . . . or bring it to its knees. And again, she's faced with a choice: cling to what she's been raised to believe, or cast her lot with the only boy she's ever loved, even if she's lost him forever.

Inspired by Jane Austen's PersuasionFor Darkness Shows the Stars is a breathtaking romance about opening your mind to the future and your heart to the one person you know can break it.
My Rating
 -4/5-
This book can defiantly be confusing if you don't pay attention. Though if you do pay attention it is a really good book. A lot happens like so much it's hard to know where to begin.
Warning: I do a horrible job at describing how good this book was!

Elliot lives in this world where you are either one of three people. 1. Reduced who are apparently dumb, they don't understand much, they hardly talk and they can only do simple tasks and they must be supervised. 2. Luddites, they are basically the top of the line, they own everything and Elliot is a Luddite. 3. Post, Post-reduction, or CORs Children of reduced; basically they come from reduced but they are born normal, like the Luddites, they can do harder stuff and they understand more. Also no Post has a child that isn't a Post, and one out of about 20 kids is born a Post. But Posts are treated the same as Reduced, like slaves more or less.

As a kid Elliot was friends with a Post named Kai, and when Kai decided to leave Elliot choose helping run the estate then to go with him. For 4 years Elliot helps her Father and sister run the estate. Helps take care of the Posts and Reduced. She cares for the people lower then her she cares if they have enough food. How they will survive the winter. She takes a lot of time and dedication into the estate.

Soon Kia comes back into her life as Malakai Wentforth. Elliot loved him before she left and she still loves him. Kia, though he hates her, he doesn't even glance at her. Won't talk to her. Says she doesn't care about her works. He even shows interest in another girl. This tears Elliot apart. She can't stand to be around Kia, she offten avoids him and focus on her work.

Though out all that Kia has to deal with other problems like trying to make sure everyone on the estate gets enough to eat over the winter. She has to choose if breaking the Luddites protocol on everything is for the better. She has to deal with her grandfather leaving dying and leaving his estate to her. She has to deal with her family basically using her. Plus more. It's a surprise Elliot even holds together. There is basically so much in this book that goes on it's hard to write it all down.

Now to the characters. The characters are great there was a lot to the characters like Elliot, Kai, Elliot's family, and many others.  There wasn't much to Ro and Dee but that was more of the point of those characters which was awesome. All the characters were more or less really good for this story. Elliot's dad and sister and even cousin where mean and horrible but had their moments. Kia was smart and strong, and stubborn, and not willing to give Elliot much of a chance. Elliot herself was lady like always keeping her composure. She hid things very well, she was extremely cautious and weighed her options. She was amazingly selfless to choose the estate over her own happiness so many times. I loved Elliot's character.

Okay I am not giving this book justice in this review. I mean there is just so much that goes on and it's all so complicated and there is this love aspect to it but it's just so hard to describe or put into words. It's a wonderful book though with a wonderful ending. The only thing that I didn't like about is it can be confusing. Everything was so nicely done. I just have to say go pick up this book and read it.

Oh a few other things I want to mention. The tittle is beautiful. Also I love Elliot's name it was such a nice name to choose.

Dark Inside (Dark Inside #1) by Jeyn Roberts

Synopsis:
Since the beginning of mankind, civilizations have fallen: the Romans, the Greeks, the Aztecs...and now us. Huge earthquakes rock the world. Cities are destroyed. But something even more awful is happening: An ancient evil has been unleashed, and it's turning everyday people into hunters, killers, and crazies. This is the world Mason, Aries, Clementine, and Michael are living in--or rather, trying to survive. Each is fleeing unspeakable horror, from murderous chaos to brutal natural disasters, and each is traveling the same road in a world gone mad. Amid the throes of the apocalypse and clinging to love and meaning wherever it can be found, these four teens are on a journey into the heart of darkness--and to find each other and a place of safety.
My Rating
-3.5/5-
This book follows four teens, Aries, Clementine, Michael, and Mason. None of the characters are near each other or know each other at the start of the book.
After Earthquakes happen all over the world. Phone lines drop, people start turning and killing people they have known all there lives. Hundreds of schools where bombed. All four main characters are lucky and manage to survive, but each and everyone has lost someone they loved. Soon after all tvs go out the internet doesn't work and the power is shut down. There isn't a single way to reach anyone. People run the streets some normal and others just killers. All the characters fight to survive, or even go in search for a family member even though it is almost pointless.
Michael and Aries both find themselves groups to stay in and become leaders of the groups. While Clementine and Mason, try to stay on their own and make it. Either way though they all come in close encounters with the Baggers (the people who have turned evil and crazy and basically try to kill everyone else. Zombies kind of.) They all are just trying to survive in this crazy situation they are thrown into.
I didn't exactly think I would like this book when I first picked it up because I don't really like 'zombie' kind of books. It turned out a lot better then I thought it would though and it was really done nicely. It was a great story that I actually enjoyed.
Things I didn't like though is the characters seemed to be kind of the same though. Aries and Michael both seemed to be leaders and everyone looked towards them. While Clementine and Mason both stayed alone most of the time and avoided people. Though they all had different thought processes so they weren't really alike a guess.
Also they all seemed to have been in almost the same kinds of situations. Well at least it seemed like that even though, there small differences made them a little less different. I just wish it was a little more.
Good book!
Oh almost forgot most of the book is in third person. It follows around all 4 characters in third person. There are chapters though labeled 'Nothing' that are in first person. Who ever that is they never tell you who they are, but it's pretty cool I guess. Adds a little more to the story.

Pawn (The Blackcoat Rebellion #1) by Aimee Carter

Synopsis:
YOU CAN BE A VII. IF YOU GIVE UP EVERYTHING.

For Kitty Doe, it seems like an easy choice. She can either spend her life as a III in misery, looked down upon by the higher ranks and forced to leave the people she loves, or she can become a VII and join the most powerful family in the country.

If she says yes, Kitty will be Masked—surgically transformed into Lila Hart, the Prime Minister's niece, who died under mysterious circumstances. As a member of the Hart family, she will be famous. She will be adored. And for the first time, she will matter.

There's only one catch. She must also stop the rebellion that Lila secretly fostered, the same one that got her killed …and one Kitty believes in. Faced with threats, conspiracies and a life that's not her own, she must decide which path to choose—and learn how to become more than a pawn in a twisted game she's only beginning to understand.

My Rating
-3.5/5-
This was a good enough book nothing really horrible about it.You have good characters and a good story.
Kitty (which is an extremely weird name) goes into prostitution pretty much so she can stay close to her boyfriend Benjy tell he becomes 17 and takes the test. The test basically test's what you know so you can be placed somewhere in society. The lower you are placed the harder you life will be. Also if you are placed to low you are sent to else where.
Kitty goes into prostitution but is instead bought by the Prime Minister and offered to become a VII. Since VII is the best she accepts the offer. Soon though she finds out why and has been transformed into Lila Hart. So then she is expected to be exactly like Lila. Live the life Lila lived like nothing is wrong. Basically during all this she is everyone's puppet and does what she is told. Other wise she would be killed or Benjy would be killed.
This book is defiantly interesting enough. No one seems to be who they say they are and all the time new secrets are being told and forced out there.
You don't really get to know characters all too well which is not to great. Kitty though is very bold I think she makes a lot of choices that she knows will likely kill her. She also makes a lot of last minute choices which is interesting. Though I don't know how much different Kitty was or is from Lila and I wish they would have emphasized that a little more.
In the book Lila is engaged to Knox and Kitty is dating Benjy. With Kitty needing to play Lila though she also has to pretend and act engaged to Knox. Though it seemed like a love triangle would develop out of that thankfully it didn't. I don't really like love triangles all that much. Though it seems like it would create a problem in the next book.
Overall it had it's flaws but it wasn't bad. I liked the book!

The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle #1) by Maggie Stiefvater

Synopsis:
“There are only two reasons a non-seer would see a spirit on St. Mark’s Eve,” Neeve said. “Either you’re his true love . . . or you killed him.”

It is freezing in the churchyard, even before the dead arrive.

Every year, Blue Sargent stands next to her clairvoyant mother as the soon-to-be dead walk past. Blue herself never sees them—not until this year, when a boy emerges from the dark and speaks directly to her.

His name is Gansey, and Blue soon discovers that he is a rich student at Aglionby, the local private school. Blue has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys. Known as Raven Boys, they can only mean trouble.

But Blue is drawn to Gansey, in a way she can’t entirely explain. He has it all—family money, good looks, devoted friends—but he’s looking for much more than that. He is on a quest that has encompassed three other Raven Boys: Adam, the scholarship student who resents all the privilege around him; Ronan, the fierce soul who ranges from anger to despair; and Noah, the taciturn watcher of the four, who notices many things but says very little.

For as long as she can remember, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love to die. She never thought this would be a problem. But now, as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she’s not so sure anymore.

From Maggie Stiefvater, the bestselling and acclaimed author of the Shiver trilogy and The Scorpio Races, comes a spellbinding new series where the inevitability of death and the nature of love lead us to a place we’ve never been before.

My Rating
-5/5-
Such an amazing book. A friend just went on and on about this book and so I thought I would pick it up and see but I never thought it would be so good.
So much goes on during the story, it isn't like one major problem its like a bunch of different problems or things some that get answered some that don't. Also when reading this at the beginning you might wonder why the story tells you useless stuff that doesn't seem to matter at all at the time. Sooner or later though all the little details tie together though. I love books that do that mainly because it's just really cool when you discover the facts it just changes everything, for just about forever.
Reading the synopsis for the book makes you think it would be a lot different then it really is. Just read it to find out. They go searching for magic. With little problems and discoveries along  the way. It's also nice how this book doesn't just focus on one big topic and that's all there is to it. It's more how real life would be you're aiming for one goal and little goals at the same time and things come in and change your goal or get in the way of it.
The thing that I found the best about this book though and just loved is the characters. Each one just unique and amazing in their own ways. Also the bonds that they share.
Gansey, Noah, Ronan, and Adam all seemed really like brothers. They were there for each other all the time they worried about each other, but they also fought. They all seemed so different but they all worked really well together.
Blue was pretty cool herself. She lives in a house with her mother and a bunch of aunts who can predicted the future I guess. She gets stuck in searching for magic lines with the 4 boys. Since all her life she has been surrounded by magic so she is pretty cool at excepting all the weird stuff that happens. Though really all of them are.
Everything put together, the story, the characters, the way everything was beautifully written just made this an amazing story that is one of my favorites.

Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky #1) by Veronica Rossi

Synopsis:
WORLDS KEPT THEM APART.

DESTINY BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER.

Aria has lived her whole life in the protected dome of Reverie. Her entire world confined to its spaces, she's never thought to dream of what lies beyond its doors. So when her mother goes missing, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland long enough to find her are slim.

Then Aria meets an outsider named Perry. He's searching for someone too. He's also wild - a savage - but might be her best hope at staying alive.

If they can survive, they are each other's best hope for finding answers.

My Rating
-4/5-
After a couple chapters into this book I was so lost. Nothing made sense and I was really confused. I hated it. I'm not one to stop reading a book though because I dislike it. I kept reading and soon everything made so much sense and it turned out to be a really good book.
Aria lives in like a futuristic world. Which I guess is very protective and advanced. They keep everything unnecessary away like growth of fingernails. They have Realms where you can be somewhere else at any time. They also have ways to change DNA.
Perry on the other hand lives outside the advanced society in a tribe. They cook with fire. They hunt. Not advanced at all really.
Then the two come together and honestly it's pretty interesting. They both go searching for people they have lost and together they have a chance at finding them.
Aria and Perry have a unique relationship. They don't really hate each other but they don't like each other. More of they are just working together for the most part and most of the time. It's not where like extreme hate just turns into love, because there wasn't that much hate more like dislike.
I like both Perry and Aria they are good characters who would go really far for the people they love.
I also really liked other characters in the story like Roar. At first it was weird reading his name in the book but once you get past the weirdness of the name he is a cool side character in the story. Also Cinder was a pretty awesome characters.
Between the characters and Aria and Perry trying to find each who they are looking for it's a pretty good story. I'm glad I read it all the way though. Especially because it had a good ending.
I wonder if the next book is just as good.

Hate List by Jennifer Brown

Synopsis:
Five months ago, Valerie Leftman's boyfriend, Nick, opened fire on their school cafeteria. Shot trying to stop him, Valerie inadvertently saved the life of a classmate, but was implicated in the shootings because of the list she helped create. A list of people and things she and Nick hated. The list he used to pick his targets.

Now, after a summer of seclusion, Val is forced to confront her guilt as she returns to school to complete her senior year. Haunted by the memory of the boyfriend she still loves and navigating rocky relationships with her family, former friends and the girl whose life she saved, Val must come to grips with the tragedy that took place and her role in it, in order to make amends and move on with her life.

My Rating
-4.5/5-
I felt like Hate List was just an amazingly good book.
A school shooting happens and Val is basically blamed for being a part of it. Her family hates her and won't forgive her. Her boyfriend is dead and basically everyone hates her. Val's life is far from easy, yet she decides to go back to school and deal with all of it.
This book was pretty sad I thought. I really hated how sad every seemed. Some people may think Val's character is whiny a lot but I thought other wise. She keep most everything to herself she didn't tell anyone but Dr. Hieler. She kept most everything in an battled to try and just be okay. Which just seemed like it would be hard. Almost everything was against her.
One of the things I thought that was great was that even though Nick was the one who shot everyone in the school and then killed himself, Valerie still loved him. She still seen him as the great guy that she loved and that she was with. To her Nick wasn't the kind of guy who went and shot up schools he was sweet and caring and all that. It was interesting to see how Val seen Nick and what Nick did and how they were different.
You got to see how other people didn't really get over the shooting. It wasn't just Val is sad most of the time and she is the only one. No you got a glimpse at other people and their sadness too.
It had a lot of sad parts but it also had some happy parts. The ending was towards the happy side. Not completely but it wasn't a really sad ending.
All together I just really liked this book, it was so sad to read but it was amazing to read.

I also found out that there is a novella to this book. I would like to read that too, just to see what that brings or maybe even adds to the story.

Sweet, sensual, and alluring. This paranormal story of attraction and desire, suspense, danger, and fighting against the odds will captivate you, fascinate you, and leave you feeling spellbound.

My Rating
-3/5-
A free copy was received in exchange for an honest review.
This is an adult paranormal romance that does have sexual scenes in it.
Basically it's 3 books, well more like three short stories or so. Each book or so is only about 40 or so pages long and when all three are put together its only about 121 pages so not a long story.
It's a little weird because most of its from Sadie's point of view, and in first person. Though when it follows Evan and Sadie isn't around it goes to third person, which was honestly pretty weird.
It was short and not extremely detailed but it did get what it needed to across so it all worked out.

I usually read Fantasy type books honestly because they can be so confusing. For some reason I just get confused with books like this. This book did confuse me at times but for the most part it was pretty good.
I liked the journey Kia went though. There was some pretty neat and surprising twists and turns in there.
Also the characters were pretty cool. Kia, Sam, Yamiko, Caassius, Galway basically all of them.
Witches Demons, Gods, all put together? Usually it isn't something I would find really good or would want to even read actually but I really liked this book. Very awesome!

Night of the Purple Moon (The Toucan Trilogy #1) by Scott Cramer

Synopsis:
Abby, 13, is looking forward to watching the moon turn purple, unaware that bacteria from a passing comet will soon kill off older teens and adults. She must help her brother and baby sister survive in this new world, but all the while she has a ticking time bomb inside of her--adolescence.
My Rating
-4/5-
A free copy was received in exchange for an honest review.
When the purple comet kills off all the adults Abby is stuck on a small island with her 2 neighbors, her brother and her baby sister, plus the other kids on the island.
Book with kids being on their own are some of the neatest most exciting books ever. It was nice to see how this kids banned together quickly to work things out and try to survive. Also during the book you get to see how being on a small island or a small community affects kids differently then like being in a big city. It was cool the author made those two different.
The chapters in this book aren't like regular chapters like chapter 1 and 2. They are more like One day, two days, 4 months, a year, so it basically helps you keep track of time from when the comet came through. The book seemed only to really touch on exciting and eventful moments. Which was fine it's easy to fill in the details. It was also hard to get boring when you're always reading about some problem are another.
The one thing I really did not like about this book is how it didn't really describe the characters. You didn't get to know how they looked at all basically which sucked. I wish the characters were all described more, not only in appearances but also personality.
I hope to read the next book and hopefully the last book and finish this trilogy.

Amy quickly realizes that her awakening was no mere computer malfunction. Someone - one of the few thousand inhabitants of the spaceship - tried to kill her. And if Amy doesn't do something soon, her parents will be next.

Now Amy must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets. But out of her list of murder suspects, there's only one who matters: Elder, the future leader of the ship and the love she could never have seen coming.

My Rating
-4/5-
First thing I noticed when reading this book is that it has 80 chapters. 80!!!!! that's just a lot of chapters. But they are different points of view first Amy then Elder then Amy then Elder and it just keeps repeating. The chapters aren't really long which was nice. One thing that I didn't like about the changing point of views is it gave a lot of reason for things to be skipped, also I wanted to know what Amy thought during Elder's point of view and vise versa. All well.
One thing I liked about Elder and Amy is that they were about 16 or 17 but both acted like little kids now and then. Which I think is realistic a bit, they act how I would probably act in their situations.
The book is a little slow and maybe slightly boring at the begging but once the closer it gets the end the more exciting it gets. It had a pretty good ending too. Lots of shocking things happened. Also just amazing all the lies that unfold in this book!
I really enjoyed this book and I hope to continue with the series.

Relativity by Cristin Bishara

Synopsis:

Ruby knows wishes can't come true; some things just can't be undone. Then she discovers a tree in the middle of an Ohio cornfield with a wormhole to nine alternative realities.

Suddenly, Ruby can access completely different realities, each containing variations of her life—if things had gone differently at key moments. The windshield wiper missing her mother’s throat…her big brother surviving his ill-fated birth…her father never having met Willow. Her ideal world—one with everything and everyone she wants most—could be within reach. But is there such a thing as a perfect world? What is Ruby willing to give up to find out?

My Rating
-4/5-
I really liked this book. Parallel Universes are cool to think about but it's cool to think Bishara could have choose any thing to play out for the 10 universes yet she choose some that were similar and others that were the complete opposite. Even ones that didn't seem similar at all. So that was pretty cool. I liked how Ruby freaked out in the first universe she went to and right away wanted to go home. I also like how other ones she wanted to stay, or she wanted to find something even better then that.
I liked the ending and how everything worked out and all the things you find out. I thought it was a cool story.
One thing I didn't really like to much though was Ruby her self thought. So it seems like she was flirty with George. She has a tattoo on her neck and she is like really into science. For some reason though she just seems into science. I mean she has a tattoo so you think she would have a slightly more wild side or something more but it just didn't seem like it. All well other then that I really enjoyed this book.

My Rating
-3/5-
First off I have to point out how much I hate this cover. I'm not really sure why but I just hate it, all well.
Second I see a lot of people either hated or loved this book. I found it okay. It wasn't bad to read. I mean sure at the beginning it was hard to know what everything was. Also the world they lived in was completely horrible. It did fall short and I wish there was a little more to it. I mean Nina faced a lot of problems but they were the same from beginning to the end. None of the problems ever changed so it got uninteresting fast. Also I hated Nina, I just didn't like her I think it's how she looked at stuff or just how she handled with problems. I mean at times I thought she was smart but then she would do stupid things like leave her sister alone.
Aside all the problems and things I disliked about it I thought it was a good book. I loved the horrible world they live in. It was unique in ways. I also think after reading this book that I really wanna read the next book, I also hope to see who wins NoCons or B.O.S.S! (Hope I got that right!)

The Guard (The Selection #2.5) by Kiera Cass

Synopsis:
Before America Singer met Prince Maxon . . .
Before she entered the Selection . . .
She was in love with a boy named Aspen Leger.

Don't miss this digital original novella set in the captivating world of Kiera Cass's #1 New York Times bestselling Selection trilogy. This brand new 64-page story begins just after the group of Selected girls is narrowed down to the Elite and is told from Aspen's point of view. The Guard also features a teaser to The One, the thrilling conclusion to The Selection trilogy.

My Rating
-4/5-
Usually I don't rate novellas higher then 3/5 but this one I loved. I loved seeing Aspens point of view. This novella takes place during the time the second book take place. So you get to see Aspen's side of things and how they match up with America's side. What's different and added information. What Aspen goes though.
Also I really loved seeing how much Aspen loves Mer. He basically loves her so much that if he had to let her go for her to be happy and in a good position he would. Though only if she was going to be treated right and what not.
The first 2 books of the series and The Prince novella made me so unsure about who I wanted America to end up with. I'm still not sure but I'm now leaning more towards Aspen.
Oh also this novella has a teaser to The One the last book in the series. Now I won't read it because I want to read the whole book at once but I can't wait tell the book comes out so I can finally see how it all ends.

Ridley House by Willa Jemhart

Synopsis:
For as long as she can remember, nineteen-year-old Kay has been unable to stay in one place for long. With no recollection of who she is or where she came from, plagued by nightmares she doesn’t remember upon waking, and the torturous feeling that her one true love was lost to her, she is unsure whether she is searching for or fleeing from something.

When she accepts a summer job at the Ridley House Inn, it feels like a nice change of pace. The country setting and old-fashioned feel are comfortable, homey, and even familiar.

Shortly after her arrival, she finds a wall filled with Ridley family portraits, where one picture in particular grabs her attention - a late 1930s photograph of a young woman with a face identical to her own.

Between the warnings of a scary old man telling her she should not have returned, and the magnetic pull towards a familiar and handsome young man, Kay is determined to find some answers. Is Ridley House the place she has been searching for, is it the place she has been running from, or is all of the familiarity simply contrived by her desperation to finally belong somewhere?

A free copy was received in exchange for an honest review.
Sadly to say I hardly liked this book at all. I just found it really boring. It took me basically forever to get through the first half. It keep putting me to sleep.
There were just a lot of long sentences also. The ton was boring and it felt like a lot of the story lacked emotion.
Though it wasn't all bad! I liked the idea just not how it was done.
Also once you get though about the first half of the story it starts to pick up and become more interesting which was good, you just have to make it through the first half.
On goodreads this book has some good ratings from what I can tell but I just did not like it. Some books are that way I guess all well.

My Rating
-4/5-
Love this book, it was a really good science fiction romance. It was simple yet not boring. I loved how Lilac and Tarver were the only ones and you got to see them fall in love. How they are fighting for their lives, but also how its not overly dramatic. They aren't being chased down constantly or about to die every single minute like most books.
I really enjoyed watching both Tarver and Lilac fall in love. Seeing how they were both stubborn and how they almost always thought the same thing. Well I mean in how to act towards each other. Other wise they weren't really on the same page.
It was interesting, to discover what they discovered also a little creepy. It made a good story though.
I like how this book was writen. In between each chapter there was a few lines, and they were from an interview. It doesn't really make sense but once you get farther in the book the interview parts make more sense and it's really cool.
Also it went back and forth between Lilac and Tarver's point of view and I thought that was cool to.
It looks like this book will be the first in a trilogy so I'm excited to see what problems they will have to face now.

Filled with hand-drawn info-graphics and illustrations and told in a pitch-perfect voice, this realistic depiction of a teen’s experience strikes an exceptional balance of hilarious and heartbreaking.

My Rating
-5/5-
First off after the first moment of reading this book I didn't put it down tell I finished. I read 8 hours straight staying up tell almost 4 in the morning just to finish it. It immediately pulled me in and no point did I just want to put the book down.
Also some parts were so funny I cried laughing. At times Ryan Dean was just stupid or just wasn't thinking, how he awkwardly responded to some situations was just so hilarious.
I loved basically all the characters! All of them had something to love about them I think, each one also added something to the story. Well not so much Mustache girl, well maybe just to laugh at.
Some of my favorite characters where Seanie, Ryan Dean (of course) Chas a little. My favorite character though was definitely Joey. He was just pretty awesome in the story.
Before I read this book I heard it had a sad ending. So when I'm almost done with the book barely anything left to go I was wondering why they sad that. At the point I was at it didn't seem sad at all. Then It kind of all hit at once. The ending was sad, it made me cry, it really broke my heart.
It was such a good book though I'm glad I picked it up!

Oh also there will be a second book about Ryan Dean in his senior year so that will be cool to read! So want to read that.

My Rating
-5/5-
I rated The Line (first book in the series) a 1/5 and the second book Away a 3/5. This book though was definitely the best! I Just loved The Island.
It starts off where the last book ended. It also has details and mentions things from the first and second book so if you don't remember before you read this book you will start to remember at least something.
There is more new characters in this book and more new problems. The book is very exciting. I Loved all the twists and turns and problems that came up.
Also the ending was one of the best endings I have read in a while. I Loved this book even though I didn't like the first book I'm glad I pushed on and read the second and got to the third.

This is the thrilling sequel to "Starters".
My Rating
-3.5/5-

This book takes off where the last book left off.
I unfortunately didn't find it as good as the first book though. It was good just not as great.
A lot goes on in this book. It's pretty cool to see so much in this book and it isn't even that long.
I thought the twist and turns were amazing in this book they throw you for a loop and they are so hard to wrap your mind around.
The ending was good but it made me want a little more, to know what else happens to Callie and her friends, her family. Even to know Callie and see if there is more of a romance anywhere with someone.
Unfortunately I don't have much to say about this book but it was good.

My Rating
-3/5-

This is a short novella in the Shatter Me series. It's from Adam's point of view. For everyone who loves Adam it's a good book to read. To be honest though I don't like Adam to much. This book though made me like him more. Like you see that he cares for Juliette he really does. One part that I liked though is when it comes down to saving James or Juliette. I like the person he picks for that. Also the ending is a shocking one. I can't wait to read the 3rd book and see if its true.
