My Rating
-5/5-
I think BZRK Reloaded is just as good as BZRK if not better. I loved this book.
Michael Grant makes it easy to help you remember what happened in the first book so you don't have to go and read the first book again to read this book.
There is new things going on in this book to make it interesting. The story is a bit like the last the two sides against each other as they both try to accomplish things, but there is different events that go on.
Just like the last book there is lots of different perspectives, different sides of the story. There is a lot of information to remember and keep straight but it is so worth it because once all the stories mold together and you see how they connected it's really amazing. All and all I love the book and didn't really hate anything about it.

Alienated (Alienated #1) by Melissa Landers - Article 5 (Article 5 #1) by Kristen Simmons - Resist (Breathe #2) by Sarah Crossan - The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

For the last month I have been living with my grandma and helping her out and haven't been able to get to a computer to write reviews nor have I read that many books in the time. Finally I am back home now and can get back to the blog and back to reading more and having a new review every few days or so. For now though these are the books I have read in the last month.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

by
Synopsis:
Charlie is a freshman.

And while he's not the biggest geek in the school, he is by no means popular. Shy, introspective, intelligent beyond his years yet socially awkward, he is a wallflower, caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it.

Charlie is attempting to navigate his way through uncharted territory: the world of first dates and mix tapes, family dramas and new friends; the world of sex, drugs, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, when all one requires is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite. But he can't stay on the sideline forever. Standing on the fringes of life offers a unique perspective. But there comes a time to see what it looks like from the dance floor.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a deeply affecting coming-of-age story that will spirit you back to those wild and poignant roller-coaster days known as growing up.
My Rating
-3/5-
Everyone made this seem like it would be such a good book. All I can say is it was okay. It wasn't horrible but I expected more I guess.
I also watched the movie after a reading the book and what I say is that the movie was just as good as the book.
I really don't have much of anything to say about this book to be honest.

Resist (Breathe #2)
by
Synopsis:
The sequel—and conclusion—to Sarah Crossan's Breathe. Three teen outlaws must survive on their own in a world without air, exiled outside the glass dome that protects what's left of human civilization. Gripping action, provocative ideas, and shocking revelations in a dystopian novel that fans of Patrick Ness and Veronica Roth will devour.

Bea, Alina, and Quinn are on the run. They started a rebellion and were thrown out of the pod, the only place where there's enough oxygen to breathe. Bea has lost her family. Alina has lost her home. And Quinn has lost his privileged life. Can they survive in the perilous Outlands? Can they finish the revolution they began? Especially when a young operative from the pod's Special Forces is sent after them. Their only chance is to stand together, even when terrible circumstances force them apart. When the future of human society is in danger, these four teens must decide where their allegiances lie. Sarah Crossan has created a dangerous, and shattered society in this wrenching, thought-provoking, and unforgettable post-apocalyptic novel

                                                                                  My Rating  -4/5-
This book takes off right where the last book left off. So it wouldn't be a bad idea to read the first book then this book right after. Also the points of view are Bea, Alina, Quinn, and Ronan so it's more  then last time. The book also comes in 4 parts (not all to sure.) It's different from the first book but also the same in ways. It was pretty exciting I thought. A lot of things happened split second so some things you really couldn't see coming but other things you could see.                            The only thing is I wish they would have put points of view from people who were fighting against them. It would have made it really interesting. All the points of view you seen from they were all on the same team.

Article 5 (Article 5 #1)
by
Synopsis:
New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., have been abandoned.

The Bill of Rights has been revoked, and replaced with the Moral Statutes.

There are no more police—instead, there are soldiers. There are no more fines for bad behavior—instead, there are arrests, trials, and maybe worse. People who get arrested usually don't come back.

Seventeen-year-old Ember Miller is old enough to remember that things weren't always this way. Living with her rebellious single mother, it's hard for her to forget that people weren't always arrested for reading the wrong books or staying out after dark. It's hard to forget that life in the United States used to be different.

Ember has perfected the art of keeping a low profile. She knows how to get the things she needs, like food stamps and hand-me-down clothes, and how to pass the random home inspections by the military. Her life is as close to peaceful as circumstances allow.

That is, until her mother is arrested for noncompliance with Article 5 of the Moral Statutes. And one of the arresting officers is none other than Chase Jennings—the only boy Ember has ever loved
My Rating
-3.5/5-
I thought the book was pretty good. The synopsis does a pretty good job at explaining some of it.
Ember is thrown into a a kind of school to make her a proper citizen but she tries to escape to find her mother.
I liked seeing how messed up this world they live in is. How different it is to ours and how they have no freedom and anything can happen to someone. I liked the romance between Ember and Chase. It was a lot of hate but also a lot of caring for each other. I liked the plans. I also really liked the emotion Ember had towards everything. They were realistic and practical emotions. Emotions that you could relate to if that was happening to you which was really nice.  The only things I didn't like where that it was a lot of information to keep straight and about two or three names for everything it made it hard to remember everything while reading. Other wise though it was pretty good.

Alienated (Alienated #1)

by
My Rating
-4.5/5-
Okay first off I read the Synopsis and I was like 'HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO READ THIS!!!' So I waited tell it came out then got it at my library and let me tell you it was as good as I thought it was going to be. I mean I just really loved this book. I love paranormal romances in the first place but this one was pretty interesting. An alien exchange program what a cool idea.
I loved Cara and Aelyx. Cara is just doing it for the money. She doesn't really want him there but she is being nice about it. While Aelyx doesn't want to be there at all. They face tons of hate in the book and lots of problems. There is a romance there. Also the ending was pretty cool and interesting it will be cool to see what the second book comes out to be like.
I just liked a lot about this book, the names the relationship between the characters and the idea. It was a good book. I really want to read the second one.
I am pretty far behind on books took me a whole month just to read 4. >.< It has been a busy month hopefully though I can get back into reading and more posted.
